No pediatric cases are required, and there is no expectation to cover obstetric cases except in rare instances such as a C-section, which will be managed in collaboration with anesthesiologists. You will be supervised as part of a highly skilled anesthesia team that values mutual support and continuous learning. The practice setting includes both a dedicated procedure room and a fully equipped endoscopy suite, utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system for seamless documentation and communication.
This Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekends or call responsibilities, supporting work-life balance and professional satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, be certified by the NBCRNA, and hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. An active New York license (or compact equivalent) is required. You will join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists, anesthesia technicians, patient support assistants, and fellow CRNAs committed to delivering high standards of patient-centered care.

- Provide anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, ENT, gynecological, plastics, podiatric, and GI endoscopy
- Work closely with supervising anesthesiologists and a multidisciplinary support team
- Structured weekday schedule with no weekend or call obligations
- Practice utilizes EPIC EMR for efficient workflow and patient documentation
Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing general, orthopedic, ENT, gynecological, plastics, podiatric, and GI endoscopy procedures
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, anesthesia techs, and patient support assistants within a team-based model
- Participate in four to six cases per day, with occasional assignments to GI resulting in 10-12 cases
- Assist in supervising or supporting other clinical staff as needed
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and clinical best practices
- Document all anesthesia care in the EPIC EMR system
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
- Respond to intraoperative and postoperative anesthesia-related needs

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the NBCRNA
- Active New York license or eligibility for a compact license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency in administering anesthesia for a range of surgical specialties
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
