We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic anesthesia care team. This full-time opportunity offers an engaging and challenging environment at a renowned Level II Trauma Center, also recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. As a CRNA, you will be an essential member of a multidisciplinary team, providing anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical procedures. The role requires cross-credentialing at an affiliated hospital to ensure flexibility and comprehensive patient care coverage. This position is ideal for CRNAs with trauma experience and a commitment to excellence in patient safety and clinical outcomes.
The CRNA will be involved in cases such as cardiac, orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, vascular, endoscopy, gynecology, robotic-assisted surgeries, and trauma. No pediatric or obstetric cases are required. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including 4x10-hour, 3x12-hour, and 5x8-hour shifts, with opportunities for overtime and call rotation. The ability to perform advanced procedures, including regional blocks, spinals, and both central and arterial line placements, is essential for this role. Proficiency with Meditech EMR is preferred.
Cross credentialing at an affiliated hospital is mandatory to provide coverage when needed. The CRNA will be supported by a collaborative leadership team and will have access to ongoing education through a growing GME program partnered with a leading medical university. Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for diverse cases including cardiac, orthopedics, general, neurosurgery, vascular, endoscopy, gynecology, robotics, and trauma
- Perform advanced anesthesia techniques such as regional blocks, spinals, and central and arterial line placements
- Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in call rotation and provide weekend coverage as needed, with flexible scheduling available
- Cross credential at the affiliated hospital to assist with coverage as required
- Utilize Meditech EMR for comprehensive patient documentation and care coordination
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
- Current and unrestricted Florida medical license
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NBCRNA certification required
- Demonstrated experience in trauma settings and proficiency with advanced anesthesia procedures
- Full-time availability and willingness to cross credential at an affiliated hospital
- Clean background and malpractice history
- Ability to provide availability details and scheduling preferences as part of the application process
- No prior employment at the facility, affiliated sites, or specific organizations within the last 12-24 months, and outside of a 75-mile radius as per facility requirements
