Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Summary
- Full-time, hospital-employed CRNA role in a collaborative anesthesiology department
- Work in a well-supported, collegial environment with a 2:1 MD-to-CRNA care team model
- Focus on a broad range of adult surgical cases including general, ENT, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and neuro
- Practice excludes obstetric, pediatric, trauma, and cardiac anesthesia

Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, develop individualized anesthesia care plans, and provide intraoperative patient monitoring
- Offer the option to perform regional anesthesia techniques including spinals, epidurals, and nerve blocks
- Participate in the care team model, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative periods
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including teaching and mentoring opportunities with students on-site
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) through the NBCRNA
- Current and unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses
