CRNAs in this position will work daytime hospital-based shifts, free from on-call requirements, ensuring a predictable and balanced work schedule. The assignment covers a range of shift lengths, including 10-, 12-, and 14-hour options, with some weekend coverage as needed. You will function within a supervised anesthesia care model, working closely with board-certified anesthesiologists who provide continuous physician support. This collaborative approach fosters professional growth, knowledge sharing, and a team-oriented atmosphere that values the contributions of every CRNA.
As a CRNA, you will be responsible for anesthesia management across a diverse surgical caseload, including orthopedic, general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, and spine procedures. While the role does not require central line or block placement, proficiency in epidural administration and ventilation management is essential. The shift-based PRN-style scheduling ensures flexibility and variety, allowing you to tailor your work commitment to your availability and preferences.
To ensure seamless integration into the team, all CRNAs must complete Epic EMR training and associated modules prior to starting the assignment. This commitment to advanced technology and standardized workflows supports clinical excellence and patient safety. The facilities feature 26 operating rooms and operate as Level I trauma centers, highlighting the fast-paced, high-acuity environment in which you will practice. Credentialing timelines are approximately 60 days, with the potential for expedited temporary privileges for qualified candidates.
This contract position offers competitive compensation rates based on shift commitment and arrangement, with enhanced pay for holiday coverage. Orientation is provided and compensated after eight hours at a set percentage of the standard rate. Travel arrangements include hotel accommodations and mileage reimbursement, supporting those commuting to the Greater Denver area. Please note, air travel reimbursement is not included.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be NBCRNA certified, hold an active Colorado RN/CRNA license, and maintain current ACLS/BLS certifications. A minimum of two years of recent CRNA experience with proven epidural proficiency is required. A clean background and NPDB self-inquiry are preferred, and flexibility to commit to a minimum of 6–8 shifts per month is expected.
