Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Position OverviewOptigy is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time opportunity within the Gwinnett Anesthesia Department in Lawrenceville, GA. This CRNA position is designed for candidates interested in a flexible-schedule role with an established, high-performing anesthesia team. The employment type is full-time, and while call shifts are available, participation is not mandatory, allowing for work-life balance and schedule flexibility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide anesthesia care across a diverse range of surgical specialties, including bariatric surgery, ENT, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, robotic surgery, orthopedic surgery, thoracic surgery, urology, vascular surgery, obstetrics, cath lab/EP, plastic surgery, and endoscopy.
- Work under a supervised model with a 4:1 CRNA-to-MD ratio, collaborating closely with anesthesiologists and other members of the surgical care team.
- Utilize Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) for accurate patient documentation and care coordination.
- Contribute to safe, patient-centered anesthesia services, ensuring all protocols and best practices are followed throughout the perioperative process.
- Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, and teamwork in all interactions with patients, families, and clinical staff.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and departmental standards.
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Active licensure as a CRNA in the state of Georgia, or eligibility to obtain Georgia licensure prior to the assignment start date.
- Proficiency in administering anesthesia for a broad spectrum of surgical procedures listed above.
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a supervised model and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Full-time availability (40 hours per week) is required for this position.
