Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Summary
- Full-time role providing direct inpatient care to military personnel, veterans, and their families.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Support the mission of Decypher and its partners in delivering excellence within the healthcare system.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including psychiatric and medical support, under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, intake and output, and other key health indicators.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, ambulating, and personal hygiene.
- Support healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and collection of specimens.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to promote positive outcomes.
- Assist in the orientation and precepting of newly assigned personnel and support administrative tasks as needed.
- Participate in patient care conferences, discharge planning, and other team meetings as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of a state-approved CNA program with successful passage of the state exam and active registration in the Nursing Assistant Registry.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Valid, active, and unrestricted CNA certification or authorizing document from any U.S. state, District of Columbia, or U.S. territory.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the past two years in a relevant specialty under supervision of a Physician, LVN, or RN.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
