Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and ambulation
- Monitor and promptly report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Accurately take and record vital signs as directed by nursing personnel
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and adhere to infection control standards throughout the care environment
- Support the mobility and repositioning needs of patients to prevent discomfort and complications
- Communicate in a professional and compassionate manner with residents, families, and fellow staff members
- Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records according to facility policies
- Assist with patient transfers and use of mobility devices as required
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and participating in ongoing training

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Tennessee (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform essential caregiving tasks

- Keen observation and reporting abilities
