As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), you will work exclusively in an outpatient clinic setting, managing a census of approximately 18 patients per day. There are no hospital-based responsibilities or delivery requirements, allowing for a balanced schedule and a focus on preventive and routine care. The position utilizes the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system to ensure efficient documentation and patient management. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to women across the reproductive lifespan, including prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care. This role is ideal for a CNM who thrives in a collaborative environment and is dedicated to advancing women's health in an outpatient context.
The ideal candidate must hold an active Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification and a current California license. Experience in high-risk and low-risk obstetrics, proficiency in performing ultrasounds, and competence in newborn care are essential. Women's Health Nurse Practitioners (NP) with substantial experience in high-risk obstetrics will also be considered. Credentialing is expedited, generally completed within 30 to 45 days, allowing qualified candidates to step into the role quickly and efficiently.
