Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, monitor, and manage the health of patients during the prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
- Provide gynecological care and health promotion services to adolescent and adult female patients
- Deliver care to well newborns throughout their first 28 days of life
- Promote patient education, disease prevention, and health protection strategies
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices in midwifery

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active licensure in the state or eligibility for IMLC licensure
- Current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Proven experience providing midwifery care to adolescent and adult female patients as well as newborns
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care
