Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) - Summary- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and well-woman gynecological care
- Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Enjoy a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including hospital rounding and deliveries
- Work in a hospital serving the Virginia and Eastern North Carolina region
- Provide full-scope obstetrical care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management
- Deliver gynecological care, including annual exams, family planning, and preventive health education
- Participate in rotating call schedule (7-8 days per month), ensuring comprehensive patient coverage
- Conduct hospital rounding and inpatient deliveries in collaboration with OB/GYN physicians
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
- Engage in patient and family education to promote positive health outcomes
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage high-risk cases
- Contribute to the development and growth of the midwifery program
