Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) - Summary
- Provide direct support to healthcare providers and patients in a primary care setting
- Ensure efficient office operations and patient flow through clinical and administrative tasks
- Deliver compassionate, individualized care as part of a reputable and community-focused medical practice
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist providers with medical examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Take and record vital signs, patient medical histories, and other relevant health information
- Perform phlebotomy, laboratory tests, and administer prescribed medications as directed
- Process patient referrals, manage forms, and coordinate appointment scheduling
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding care instructions and follow-up requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with the medical team to support a smooth workflow and high standard of patient care

Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office setting
- Proficiency in phlebotomy, lab testing, and medication administration
- Ability to accurately assess patient needs and document medical information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience in Family Medicine or primary care is a plus
