The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a primary care practice. As a full-time team member, the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth functioning of clinical and administrative procedures. This position requires proficiency in medical office workflows, electronic medical records (EMR), clinical interventions such as injections and phlebotomy, and hands-on support during patient examinations and in-office procedures. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) also assists with laboratory specimen collection and preparation, maintains a clean and stocked clinical environment, and collaborates with both medical and administrative staff to deliver a positive patient experience.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Summary
- Full-time position supporting a dynamic primary care practice

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and readiness
- Obtain and document medical histories and vital signs accurately
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing, following proper protocols
- Administer injections, perform phlebotomy, and conduct EKGs and pulse oximetry as required
- Sterilize medical instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
- Manage vaccine inventory and ensure proper storage and handling
- Restock exam rooms and clinical supplies regularly
- Clean and sterilize exam rooms between patient visits
- Assist front office staff as needed, including answering phones and scheduling
- Follow all healthcare regulations and company policies to ensure patient safety and confidentiality

- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
