Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
- Evaluate, monitor, and prepare patients for anesthesia procedures
- Assist with the induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patient vital signs, adjust anesthetic levels as necessary, and respond to changes in patient status
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
- Document all aspects of anesthesia care in the patient’s medical record
- Collaborate effectively with surgical, nursing, and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and supportive environment in all clinical settings
- Comply with all institutional policies, standards of practice, and relevant regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
- Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) credential from an accredited program
- Active certification from the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
- Current, unrestricted state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Demonstrated clinical skills and experience in a variety of surgical cases (general, orthopedic, neuro, OB, endoscopy, cath lab, ophthalmology, etc.)
- Experience working in hospital and/or surgery center environments preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
