Cerner Millennium CCL Data Transformation Lead - Summary
- Lead EHR data migration projects and legacy system retirement efforts within Cerner Millennium environments
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts for complex data management tasks
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to ensure accurate translation of operational requirements into technical solutions
- Perform data extraction, validation, and reconciliation from Oracle schemas
- Support reporting initiatives and help maintain data integrity throughout the organization
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CCL scripts to support EHR migration, reporting, and data transformation initiatives
- Analyze clinical workflows and requirements in order to translate them into effective technical specifications and solutions
- Perform comprehensive data extraction, validation, and reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity during system migrations
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders and IT teams to ensure successful implementation of clinical requirements
- Contribute to the overall strategy for retiring legacy systems and migrating data to new platforms
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle database structures to troubleshoot and resolve data issues
- Document technical processes and provide guidance to team members as needed
