CDL Truck Driver - SummaryAs a CDL Truck Driver at Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions, you will be responsible for the safe operation of company trucks for the delivery of glass and aluminum products. This role involves conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and ensuring that all deliveries are executed in a safe, efficient, and customer-focused manner. Duties & Responsibilities- Safely operate Class A or Class B company trucks for material transportation and delivery to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure operational safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation as required by regulatory authorities.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and provide excellent service throughout each interaction.
- Assist with the unloading of materials at delivery sites as required.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are handled with care to minimize risk and damage.
- Participate in periodic overnight trips, with hotel accommodations provided by the company.
