CDL Truck Driver - Summary- Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery and pickup of goods between company and customer locations.
- Maintain DOT compliance and keep all required certifications up to date.
- Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-organized, and mechanically sound.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer sites, ensuring each cart is properly tagged and accounted for.
- Complete all required daily paperwork, logs, and documentation according to company and DOT standards.
- Weigh and record all soiled materials under the correct customer account and deliver to designated areas.
- Disinfect and maintain cleanliness of vehicles after each soil pick-up.
- Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly to engineering staff.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance, wearing the required uniform every workday.
- Adhere strictly to company safety procedures and universal precautions when handling materials.
- Report any concerns or issues regarding customer service and satisfaction to management.
- Comply with all company attendance and conduct policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
