The CDL Delivery Driver plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of linens and laundry for the company and its customers. This full-time position requires the safe operation of a company-owned vehicle over established routes, adhering to all company, government, and industry regulations. The CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for loading and unloading linen carts, maintaining detailed delivery logs, and upholding the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. Individuals in this role must demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow established protocols for handling both clean and soiled linens.
As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will be the face of the company for many clients, ensuring customer deliveries are made accurately and efficiently. The role requires excellent time management, a commitment to safety, and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a valid Class A driver's license, a clean driving record, and the physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling wheeled carts weighing up to 650 pounds. CDL Delivery Driver - Summary- Operate company-owned vehicles to deliver linens and laundry to customer locations safely and efficiently.
- Follow established routes and schedules, ensuring all deliveries are made in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, government, and industry regulations related to commercial driving and delivery procedures.
- Load and unload linen carts, tagging each cart appropriately for accurate tracking and delivery.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date delivery logs for each route and customer.
- Perform customer deliveries with attention to accuracy, professionalism, and timeliness.
- Adhere strictly to safety precautions and company procedures, especially when handling soiled linens.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the company vehicle and equipment at all times.
- Comply with all safety and operational protocols to prevent accidents and damages.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support team and company objectives.
- Availability on weekends and holidays is required to meet operational needs.
