Working as a CDL Class B Driver, you will be responsible for operating straight or box trucks to deliver materials, primarily glass products, to local customer sites. Your day will start early, following a set schedule that allows you to complete your deliveries during daytime hours, return home daily, and maintain a healthy work-life balance with no overnight travel required. The role demands hands-on participation, including loading and unloading materials and occasionally assisting with warehouse duties once delivery routes are completed.

CDL Class B Driver - Summary- Full-time position responsible for local deliveries of glass products and materials using a Class B vehicle.
- Operates straight or box trucks, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness of all deliveries.
- Home-daily position with early start times and no overnight travel required.
- Works closely with supervisors, warehouse staff, and customers to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
- Safely operate a Class B vehicle, such as a straight or box truck, for the delivery of glass products to customer locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload glass products using appropriate equipment, including Moffett forklifts, to ensure secure and damage-free transport.
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and delivery documentation, following all regulatory guidelines.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently, adhering to scheduled timelines and adjusting as needed for traffic or route changes.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when deliveries are complete, supporting overall team productivity.

- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating Moffett forklifts (required).
- Previous experience in delivery driving, preferably in materials or glass products.
- Ability to regularly lift and handle materials weighing 75+ lbs.
- Experience with safe loading and unloading procedures for glass and related materials.
- Familiarity with maintaining DOT logs and performing vehicle inspections.
- Competency using GPS and navigation tools for efficient route planning.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Detail-oriented and safety-focused with a commitment to following all regulatory guidelines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team to accomplish delivery and warehouse objectives.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy products.
- Excellent communicator, both with internal team members and external customers.
