CDL A Truck Driver - Summary
- Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of linens and laundry to and from client locations such as hospitals and clinics.
- Operates company vehicles over established routes, ensuring timely service and compliance with all company and industry regulations.
- Represents CORE Linen professionally while interacting with clients and team members.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts, accurately tagging each cart as required for inventory and tracking purposes.
- Maintain a detailed and up-to-date log documenting deliveries, pickups, and any relevant incidents or changes during routes.
- Deliver linens to customers in a safe, accurate, and timely manner, consistently meeting delivery schedules.
- Follow all established safety precautions, especially when handling soiled linens, to protect yourself and others.
- Ensure the cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned company vehicle and equipment before and after each route.
- Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company-specific regulations regarding vehicle operation and safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Transportation Department leadership to support operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) with a clean and current driving record.
- Proven ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 650 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in following safety protocols and completing delivery logs.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled routes, including weekends as required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
