As a Carpentry Foreman, you will utilize your advanced knowledge of rough framing and finish carpentry to supervise, coach, and mentor carpentry crews. Carpentry Foreman - Summary
- Lead and supervise carpentry crews on high-end residential construction projects
- Participate in hands-on carpentry work, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, clients, and trade partners
- Maintain high standards for safety, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to crew members
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day field operations and assign work tasks to carpenters, apprentices, and laborers
- Conduct daily kickoff meetings, set production goals, and monitor crew performance
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate materials and equipment, and review blueprints and specifications
- Anticipate project challenges, develop proactive solutions, and ensure timely project completion
- Perform regular inspections of ongoing and completed work, addressing deficiencies as needed
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations, ensuring the proper use of PPE and maintaining organized jobsites
- Complete daily reports, project logs, and documentation; track project changes and communicate effectively with management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and trade partners

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of four years' experience in residential rough framing and finish carpentry
- Prior experience as a foreman, lead carpenter, crew lead, superintendent, or a similar leadership role
- Advanced technical skills in carpentry, including blueprint reading and field engineering
- Experience with construction sequencing, scheduling, and material planning
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and compliance
- Proficient with construction tools, equipment, and technology
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds; ability to work outdoors and safely navigate construction sites
