Carpentry Foreman - Summary
- Oversee and participate in all aspects of residential carpentry work on custom home projects
- Lead and supervise crews, ensuring high levels of productivity and quality
- Plan and coordinate daily field operations, managing resources and schedules
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and company policies
- Serve as a coach and mentor to team members, fostering continuous improvement
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and direct crews of carpenters, apprentices, and laborers on-site
- Conduct daily safety meetings, kickoff meetings, and communicate production goals
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and training
- Review blueprints, specifications, RFIs, and project documents
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and deliveries for project needs
- Ensure all work complies with plans, company standards, and client expectations
- Perform regular inspections to identify and correct deficiencies
- Promote and enforce OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usage
- Maintain organized, hazard-free jobsites and immediately address unsafe conditions
- Track project progress, complete required documentation, and communicate with management
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and trade partners

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years' experience in residential rough framing and finish carpentry
- Prior experience as a foreman, lead carpenter, crew lead, superintendent, or similar leadership role preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing and directing construction crews on luxury residential projects
- Advanced knowledge of carpentry techniques, blueprint reading, and construction sequencing
- Strong skills in layout, measuring, and material planning
- Proficiency with construction tools, equipment, and technology
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Physical capability to perform carpentry work, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions
