Carpenter - Summary- Full-time Carpenter position with a focus on residential framing and finish carpentry
- Work on custom residential construction projects for discerning clients

- Complete work assignments as directed by the Carpenter Foreman
- Maintain and properly utilize hand tools and equipment
- Set up and clean up job sites, and handle materials efficiently
- Cut and install framing materials for floors, walls, and roofs
- Construct and sheet interior and exterior walls on residential projects
- Assist with the installation of concrete forms, foundations, wall layouts, and framing
- Install door and window framing, floor joists, ceiling joists, and roof framing
- Build stair systems and perform detailed carpentry tasks as needed
- Operate power tools including Skilsaw, Sawzall, levels, and layout tools
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Maintain professional relationships with team members and supervisors
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project goals

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1–4 years of residential construction experience based on position level
- Proven experience in residential framing and/or finish carpentry preferred
- Ownership of basic carpentry tools as outlined by S.R. Freeman, Inc.
- Ability to accurately read tape measures and blueprints
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds and handle building materials
- Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, and at heights above 20 feet
- Good eyesight and depth perception required
- Effective communication skills in English for following verbal and written instructions
- Dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious carpenter
- Demonstrates pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a crew
- Possesses knowledge of roof framing, stair layout, floor systems, and concrete form work
- Experience with custom residential construction highly beneficial
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Leadership experience is a plus for advancement opportunities
