Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care while maintaining their privacy and dignity.
- Support mobility, transfers, ambulation, and ensure the safe use of assistive devices.
- Provide meal assistance, including feeding and hydration support, as well as light meal preparation when necessary.
- Offer medication reminders under supervision, adhering to facility and state guidelines.
- Document care provided, observe and report changes in resident condition, and maintain open communication with supervisory or nursing staff.
- Engage residents in social, emotional, and recreational activities to support their holistic well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas, following infection-control and safety protocols.
- Adhere to individual care plans, safety procedures, and facility policies at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and certifications as required by state regulations and facility standards.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $22 to $26, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States and able to provide necessary identification.
- Ability to pass Washington State and FBI fingerprint background checks as required.
- Clean criminal record in compliance with state laws and facility standards.
- Basic communication skills for reading, understanding, and following care plans and responding to emergencies.
- Willingness to complete required state training (minimum of 75 hours initial training and annual continuing education) and obtain certifications as needed.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with resident care.
- Demonstrate compassion, patience, reliability, and respect for elderly individuals and persons with disabilities.
- Preferred: Experience in assisted living, long-term care, home care, or similar settings.
- Preferred: First aid and CPR certification.
