Cardiovascular Technologist (RT/RCIS) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and procedural areas for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient responses during procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Document all procedural activities accurately in the Epic system
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekday and weekend coverage
- Coordinate with nurses and other staff to provide seamless patient care
- Adhere to all hospital policies and infection control guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or interventional radiology setting
- Certification by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
- Proficiency in Epic charting system preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation
