We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiovascular Surgeon to join an established cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery program. This permanent, full-time opportunity features a partnership track and the chance to become part of a stable, collaborative team. The Cardiovascular Surgeon (Cardiac Surgeon, CT Surgeon, CV Surgeon) will contribute to a comprehensive adult cardiovascular surgery practice, delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the program’s commitment to positive outcomes and innovation in the field. The Cardiovascular Surgeon (Cardiac Surgeon, CT Surgeon, CV Surgeon) position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality surgical care, engaging in continuous professional development, and working within a group that values collaboration and clinical excellence. The ideal candidate will have completed a relevant surgical fellowship and either hold or be eligible for a state medical license. Duties & Responsibilities
- Join an established cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery group as a full-time, permanent team member.
- Provide comprehensive adult cardiovascular surgery services, including but not limited to:
- Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
- Valve repair and replacement procedures
- Aortic surgery, including the management of aneurysms and dissections
- Emergent and urgent cardiac surgery cases
- Share in a collaborative call rotation, ensuring round-the-clock coverage for cardiovascular emergencies and continuity of patient care.
- Engage in approximately 300-400 cardiac cases per year, working with a variety of complex and routine surgical scenarios.
- Welcome to pursue subspecialty interests, such as aortic surgery, structural heart and valve programs, and minimally invasive or hybrid procedures (not required).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, including advanced practice providers, nurses, and other specialists to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in surgical care and patient safety.
- Actively participate in educational and professional development opportunities within the practice.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of an accredited cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery fellowship.
- Board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery.
- Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) or state processes.
- Strong clinical skills and demonstrated expertise in adult cardiac surgery procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
