Palm Health Resources is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular ICU Nurse Practitioner (CVICU NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time locum opportunity. This advanced practice provider position is ideal for candidates passionate about critical care and cardiovascular medicine, offering the chance to work in a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) in Baltimore, MD. As a CVICU NP or PA, you will play an essential role in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to critically ill cardiovascular patients. The position requires a commitment to rotating shifts of 12-13 hours, with schedules spanning both day and night coverage (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am). Providers will manage a focused patient panel, averaging four patients per shift, allowing for in-depth, personalized care and close clinical monitoring.

Cardiovascular ICU Nurse Practitioner (CVICU NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - Summary- Full-time locum contract for experienced advanced practice providers in cardiovascular intensive care.
- Work alongside a dedicated team in a high-acuity CVICU environment.

- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license with Board Certification in Acute Care.
- Minimum of recent, relevant experience in a high-acuity cardiovascular ICU setting (CVICU).
- Demonstrated proficiency in central line placement, arterial line placement, and chest tube insertion.
- Experience managing patients with transplant, VAD, and ECMO therapies.
- Proof of line placement competency and ability to provide documentation as required.
- Highly skilled in the management of complex cardiovascular ICU patients.
