Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary- Locum tenens, full-time assignment supporting an academic cardiovascular surgery program
- First-assist in 100% operating room environment

- Serve as first-assist in complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures such as CABG (coronary artery bypass graft) and valve surgeries
- Assist with intraoperative tasks including operative exposure, vessel cannulation, conduit harvesting, and surgical closure
- Maintain efficient operative workflow in collaboration with attending surgeons, surgical residents, and multidisciplinary operating room teams
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, sterility, and surgical protocol adherence
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of intraoperative care and procedural outcomes
- Provide expert support for all aspects of operative cardiothoracic care within the academic program

- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a high-volume, surgical-first environment
