Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as first assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including minimally invasive surgeries, TAVR, CABG, and robotic-assisted operations
- Manage post-operative care, including monitoring and treating patients in the ICU setting
- Provide clinic-based patient care, follow-up, and education
- Demonstrate proficiency in arterial and central line placement, saphenous vein harvesting, and intubation
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals for comprehensive care delivery
- Participate in call rotation (1:3), ensuring continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA-C certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery required
- Proficient in arterial and central line placement, saphenous vein harvesting, and intubation
- Active state license preferred; assistance available for obtaining appropriate licensure
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
