The Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) will play an integral role in the management and treatment of patients undergoing complex cardiac and thoracic procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for first assist duties in the operating room, including open and endoscopic vein harvesting, and will provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.

- Minimum of 2 years current cardiothoracic surgery experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac surgical first assisting
- Experience with both open and endoscopic vein harvesting
- Active Colorado PA license or ability to obtain
- NCCPA certification (for PAs)
- BLS certification (ACLS required within conditional period)
- DEA registration with prescriptive authority
- Robotic surgery experience preferred, but not required
- Experienced and technically skilled in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Strong communicator and effective collaborator within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently
