The position involves working with a team of two established surgeons, supported by highly skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and dedicated cardiac anesthesiologists. This Cardiothoracic Surgeon (CTS) opportunity is designed for a candidate who is passionate about advancing their surgical expertise and contributing to program development. You will be involved in the full scope of cardiac and thoracic surgery, and have opportunities to participate in the evolution of an advanced ECMO program. Working in this role means joining a collaborative network that includes a strong community of general and interventional cardiologists, providing multidisciplinary support for optimal patient outcomes.
The position features a manageable 1:3 call rotation, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. You will have the chance to collaborate with first assist APPs in the operating room and receive dedicated APP support in both inpatient and outpatient clinic settings.
