Cardiothoracic Surgeon (CT Surgeon) - Full-time

This full-time opportunity offers the chance to be part of a progressive cardiac and thoracic surgery program renowned for its utilization of advanced technology and a collaborative approach to patient care. The Cardiothoracic Surgeon (CT Surgeon) will work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern hybrid operating rooms and cutting-edge robotic surgical systems, including the Da Vinci 5 and multiple Da Vinci XI units. This position provides the platform to engage in a full scope of cardiac and thoracic surgeries, contribute to a growing program, and benefit from comprehensive support resources.
As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon (CT Surgeon), you will become an integral member of a team of experienced surgeons and have access to dedicated cardiac anesthesiologist support. The practice is further supported by first assist Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the operating room, as well as dedicated APPs in the inpatient and clinic settings. This multidisciplinary environment ensures seamless patient care and supports professional development in complex surgical procedures. The facility is recognized for being the first in its broader region to offer advanced robotic surgical technology, enhancing both provider capabilities and patient outcomes.
The Cardiothoracic Surgeon (CT Surgeon) will participate in a 1:3 call rotation, allowing for a balanced and manageable schedule. The cardiac program is actively expanding and developing advanced procedures, including a new ECMO program, presenting the opportunity for surgeons to shape and lead innovative care initiatives. Collaboration with a strong cardiology community, including general and interventional cardiologists, further enriches the professional environment and supports comprehensive cardiovascular care.
