Cardiothoracic Radiologist (MD/DO) - Summary
- Diagnose and evaluate cardiovascular and thoracic conditions using advanced imaging techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in educational initiatives by teaching and mentoring radiology residents and medical students.
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CCTA, CTA, CT scans, MRI/MRA, and cardiac MRI, to assess cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
- Communicate imaging findings effectively to referring physicians and care teams, ensuring timely and accurate clinical decisions.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Mentor and teach residents and medical students in the principles and applications of cardiothoracic imaging.
- Participate in departmental quality assurance activities to uphold the highest standards of imaging and patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Fellowship training or significant experience in Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Imaging strongly preferred.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a valid medical license in the state of Florida.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
