As a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C), you will play a pivotal role in supporting a high-volume surgical practice. Your primary responsibilities will include direct intraoperative assistance, endoscopic vein harvesting, perioperative management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care. The position entails a Monday through Friday schedule, with approximately 80% of your responsibilities dedicated to operating room and inpatient care, complemented by outpatient clinic time. Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct intraoperative assistance for cardiothoracic surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting with demonstrated proficiency
- Manage preoperative and postoperative care for cardiac surgery patients
- Participate in inpatient rounds, patient assessments, and care coordination
- Support outpatient clinic operations as needed
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as part of the surgical team rotation
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Document patient encounters and care plans in accordance with hospital policies

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and licensure to practice
