As a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant PA-C, you will have the unique opportunity to receive advanced training in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH), a highly valuable skill in the field of cardiovascular surgery. The program’s annual caseload includes approximately 100-125 Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABGs), around 50 Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVR), and about 250 thoracic procedures covering a wide range of surgeries and bedside or endoscopic interventions. Working within a close-knit team of three experienced PAs, you will rotate through key responsibilities, including first assisting in surgery, managing admissions, and providing inpatient care. The absence of residents ensures direct mentorship and hands-on experience alongside renowned cardiovascular surgeons.
The position involves a Monday through Friday schedule, offering a balanced mix of operating room duties, clinical consultations, and shared call responsibilities. Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant PA-C - Summary- Full-time, permanent position supporting cardiothoracic surgery.

- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant (or eligibility to obtain).
- Three to five years of experience in endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) strongly preferred; endoscopic radial harvest experience is a plus.
