The assignment length is flexible, ranging from three months up to one year, with the potential for extensions.
As a full-time Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) in St. Louis, you will work three or more 12-hour shifts per week, typically from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. You will participate in a shared call rotation, including one surgical call per week and one weekend call every five weeks. You will provide comprehensive care across the perioperative spectrum, including operating room coverage, ICU management, stepdown, and clinic responsibilities. Your expertise in central line and arterial line placement, chest tube placement, and ECMO management will be highly valued.
