As a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C), you will play an integral role in cardiovascular surgery and patient management. The Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) is responsible for first-assisting in the operating room on coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) and valve replacement procedures. You will manage postoperative care, including wound management, chest tube and pacemaker wire oversight, and discharge planning. Direct patient care extends into progressive cardiac units and the outpatient clinic for post-operative follow-ups, ensuring continuity and quality outcomes in surgical recovery. Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings and active communication with colleagues are essential for success in this role.

If you are a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and are licensed or eligible for licensure, have significant experience in cardiac or thoracic surgery, and maintain current CPR certification, you are encouraged to apply.
