The Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) serves as a key member of the surgical team, ensuring high standards of care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The primary focus is on assisting surgeons during operative procedures, particularly cardiovascular surgeries, with a significant emphasis on endoscopic vein harvesting. The role also encompasses preoperative and postoperative patient care, patient assessment, and the management of complex clinical cases under the supervision and guidance of licensed physicians.
This full-time position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with standard hours from 8am to 5pm, and includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule with other experienced Physician Assistants.
