The Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) plays an integral role in a dynamic cardiac surgery team, supporting a comprehensive cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery program. This full-time, locum contract opportunity is designed for experienced physician assistants who are passionate about providing advanced perioperative care. This role provides exposure to a variety of cases, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repairs and replacements, minimally invasive aortic and mitral valve procedures, robotic thoracic surgeries, and a range of vascular interventions such as carotid endarterectomy, endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), lower extremity bypass, and aorto-bifemoral bypass. The flexibility of daytime or evening shifts, with on-call responsibilities limited to one night per week and one weekend per month, ensures a balanced work-life schedule for the Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C).
