The ideal candidate for this Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) contract is expected to hold, or be in the process of obtaining, an active state license. Proficiency in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) is essential, and experience with the Maquet EVH system is highly valued. First assisting in cardiac surgical procedures is a core component of this role, requiring the ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) will join a collaborative team of three surgeons who perform a wide variety of cardiac operations, excluding transplant cases. This comprehensive role involves responsibilities across the operating room, ICU, and clinic, providing continuity of care and supporting patients through every step of their surgical journey. The schedule is structured as Monday through Friday with a rotating on-call system, including coverage for two out of every four weekends, ensuring comprehensive patient support at all times.

Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary- Contract opportunity for experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Work alongside a team of three cardiac surgeons
