As a core member of the multidisciplinary team, the Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) works collaboratively with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver exceptional patient care throughout the full continuum—from preoperative evaluation and preparation, to intraoperative first assist, to postoperative and follow-up care in both intensive care and clinic settings.
