- Current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification
- Experience in endoscopic vein harvesting required
- Current state licensure or eligibility
- Nurse Practitioners must hold RNFA certification and appropriate board certification (if applicable)
- Demonstrated experience in first-assist duties in cardiothoracic surgery
