Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary- Support cardiothoracic surgeons in all aspects of patient care, including surgical first assist and endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
- Deliver comprehensive care through pre- and post-operative rounds, clinic follow-ups, and collaborative case management
- Participate in a shared call schedule for continuous patient coverage
- Assist in all routine and complex heart and thoracic surgeries as first assist
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) for bypass procedures
- Conduct daily patient rounding pre- and post-operatively
- Manage outpatient clinic follow-ups and post-operative care
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in call rotation to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Minimum of two years’ experience in cardiothoracic and/or heart surgery
- Demonstrated proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and first assist in surgery

- Strong understanding of pre- and post-operative patient care, including clinic follow-ups
