Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit (CTICU)
- Manage patient cases post-cardiothoracic surgery, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Collaborate closely with attending physicians and other care team members to develop and implement care plans
- Conduct regular rounding on assigned patients, ensuring continuity of care and updating treatment protocols as necessary
- Perform advanced clinical procedures within NP scope and hospital guidelines
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues regarding care plans and patient progress
- Adhere to all regulatory and institutional policies and protocols to maintain patient safety and quality of care
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training as required

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Demonstrated experience in cardiothoracic, intensive care, or critical care settings
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
