- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiothoracic ICU and on the hospital floor
- Conduct daily patient rounding, assessments, and care planning
- Respond to nurse and floor calls, addressing patient needs promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Potential to participate in operative procedures, such as vein harvesting, for qualified candidates
- Manage an estimated patient load of 8 to 12 patients per day
- Fulfill on-call duties overnight and provide consultative support to ICU staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures

- Active Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Board Certification (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- Active Florida State License required
- Prior experience in Cardiothoracic ICU settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and on-call shifts
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical decision-making skills

- Experienced in managing post-cardiothoracic surgery patients in ICU settings

- Open to expanding skills, including operative vein harvesting (if qualified)
- Start date anticipated for December 2025, with an ongoing assignment
- Credentialing process may be completed within 3-5 days for qualified applicants
- Flexible shift structure: 5 to 10 shifts per month, including days and nights; weekend shifts included
- Shifts may include 8 to 12 hours on site, followed by 12 hours of on-call coverage
