This includes invasive monitoring, procedural interventions such as placing central and arterial lines, and management of surgical drains and chest tubes. Familiarity and proficiency with mechanical circulatory support devices—including ECMO, IABP, and Impella—are essential. The Cardiothoracic ICU Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/PA-C) Locum will collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
