Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Summary
- Full-time, permanent outpatient cardiology position in Philadelphia, PA
- Join a busy and well-established cardiology office
- Monday to Friday daytime schedule (8am - 5pm)
- Work with patients experiencing a wide spectrum of cardiac and vascular conditions
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of cardiology experts

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct complete patient histories and physical examinations, documenting findings accurately and thoroughly
- Order and collect relevant diagnostic data, including laboratory studies and cardiac imaging
- Interpret diagnostic results to inform care decisions and treatment planning
- Serve as a first responder to patient status changes, clinical orders, and procedural or resuscitative interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other providers to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Participate in precepting and mentoring graduate students, supporting their education and professional development
- Engage in ongoing professional practice development, including participation in advanced practice grand rounds and specialty meetings
- Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge of current best practices in cardiology and advanced practice nursing
- Demonstrate leadership in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
- Current and unrestricted national board certification as a Primary/Family Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Demonstrated experience in cardiology or a related specialty preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
