Cardiologist (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct cardiovascular patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
- Interpret diagnostic results such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other relevant studies
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for patients with heart and vascular diseases
- Collaborate with primary care providers, nurses, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, preventative strategies, and therapeutic options
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records according to regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and adhere to best practice guidelines
- Remain current with advances in cardiology through continued education and professional development

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology
- Active and unrestricted medical license (state-specific licensing as required)
- Demonstrated experience in cardiovascular medicine, including diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
