Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiac care and consultations in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, EKGs, Holter monitors, and stress testing
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular disease
- Collaborate closely with other physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Participate in rotating call coverage as scheduled (1:6 call ratio)
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending continuing medical education (CME) and staying current on advances in cardiology
- Promote preventive medicine and educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and lifestyle modifications
- Document all clinical encounters and maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with institutional policies

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based clinical care and ongoing professional development
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
