As a Cardiologist (General Cardiology, MD/DO), you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing management of patients with a variety of cardiac conditions. The position includes both patient-facing clinical responsibilities and the interpretation of echocardiograms. The role is supported by a full clinical team, including an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), ensuring that you have the assistance needed to focus on delivering high-quality care. Cardiologist (General Cardiology, MD/DO) - Summary
- Provide patient care in a clinic setting with a focus on general cardiology.
- Interpret echocardiograms and deliver comprehensive cardiac assessments.
- Collaborate with a skilled clinical support team, including an APP.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and workflow management.
- Offer coverage for a minimum of one week per month on an ongoing basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions.
- Perform all general cardiology procedures as required by the clinic.
- Read and interpret echocardiograms to inform patient care plans.
- Maintain detailed records using the EPIC EMR system.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, APPs, and support staff to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical regulations and facility policies.
- Provide patient education regarding cardiac health, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree with completion of a fellowship in Cardiology.
- Board certification in Cardiology is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Massachusetts medical license.
- DEA/CSR registration or willingness to obtain as required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong clinical decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
