Cardiac Vascular Sonographer (Echo Tech, RVT) – Summary
- Serve as the primary imaging technologist and procedural assistant in cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology settings.
- Support physicians and multidisciplinary teams during complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintain a high level of autonomy, technical skill, and clinical judgment in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Participate in a structured on-call rotation to ensure continuous patient care support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor a variety of cardiovascular, vascular, interventional radiology, and neuro-interventional procedures, adhering to established protocols.
- Manage vascular access sites, monitor patient symptoms, and perform safe removal of sheaths post-procedure.
- Assist physicians as the first procedural support, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of patient care.
- Coordinate patient flow, including admission, recovery, and discharge for both in-patient and out-patient cases.
- Oversee procedure scheduling, ensuring timely and accurate coordination with clinical teams.
- Participate in a mandatory emergency after-hours call rotation to provide critical procedural support as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols, ensuring patient and staff safety at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL), Interventional Radiology, and/or Interventional Neurology is required.
- Proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring a wide range of interventional cases, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Active ARRT certification is preferred, with priority given to candidates holding a state-specific ARRT license.
- Superior technical skills in diagnostic imaging and interventional support, including familiarity with latest ultrasound and vascular technologies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with clinical teams and physicians.
